It seems I have always worked out in some fashion or another, however, without any measurable results. After many years of frustration I contacted Nicole for online training. She indicated that if I followed her program that I would achieve the results that I had been lacking. Online training led to one-one training and after the first six months I lost 15 lbs of body fat and gained lean muscle. It is now over two years later and I have been able to keep my weight stable while continuing to gain lean muscle.
Nicole has this incredible ability to communicate her vision in simple terms and walk you through the steps required to achieve the goals you have set for yourself. Through her nutritional expertise and personalized workout routines she has created, maintaining a healthy “clean” lifestyle has become second nature for me. I have seen Nicole demonstrate extreme patience to coach a beginner just entering into the gym for the first time while using her wealth of knowledge to help even the most seasoned athlete.
Simply put, to call Nicole a personal trainer is an understatement. She is a great friend that has given me the confidence and the tools to maintain a healthily lifestyle for the rest of my life.
I’ve always been into fitness, but I never really understood the dieting part of it. Nicole is a great inspiration and athlete that I’ve looked up to watching her competitions, so I decided to contact her and do online training. WOW! I am so happy I did!
Within three days, I could see more definition in my body and tightness in my abs. She broke down the dieting in a simple way that I can understand into six simple meals and even gave me information on how to make certain food choices and serving sizes. The workouts were planned precisely to target the areas on my body that I needed to devote the most attention to. She also gave me alternative workout choices for certain body areas and new ideas on how to improve in my form.
Nicole has been wonderful in answering my questions during the whole program (and believe me, I had a lot!) and also after the program. She gave me motivation via text messages as well as holding me accountable for my workouts/dieting through weekly emails.
I’ve been getting noticed at the gym a lot and receiving many good compliments regarding more lean muscle tone that I’ve developed while on the program. In 2010 I attended the Arnold Sports Festival weekend in Columbus, Ohio with my husband. I had no intention in competing in any contests in the near future, I merely went as a fan and spectator. During the event I was really motivated by the competitions and the individual competitors. I attended the “Ask The Pros Seminar” after the finals and became completely inspired by Nicole Wilkins’ testimony and success in the fitness industry.
I immediately came home and checked out her website, sent her an email and prayed that she would pick me as one of the select few online candidates that she works with each year. She is the MOST AMAZING coach, mentor and friend. She put together the most detailed workout and meal plan specifically for me and my competition goals.
After six weeks I competed in my first NPC Bikini show and won my class and the overall title! I went on to win my IFBB Pro Card in 2011 and placed 4th in my first IFBB Bikini Pro show in Jacksonville, Florida. Nicole was there with me every step of the way. She was with me during the ups and downs of competing and making it through my off-season with my sanity intact. I don’t know what I would do without Nicole as a part of my life. I am so honored and blessed to have her not only as my mentor and coach, but as a true friend.
I am a personal trainer – I know it’s probably weird to think that trainers hire trainers… but i did! I had a real issue with the fact that I didn’t look like a trainer. I thought I ate pretty healthy. I worked out pretty hard. I did triathlons, ran a couple marathons… but still NOTHING! If I can talk the talk I needed to walk the walk of all of my clients. I wanted to give them someone to look up to. If I could overcome my issues, so could they.
I have such a passion for the health and fitness field that it killed me that I could never get to that fitness level that I so wanted to achieve. I had gone to watch figure shows time and time again. All of my friends would always ask me when it was my turn to get up there. I always answered with “It’s just not the right time”. Well, I finally had a revelation that there would never be the perfect time. I was about to turn 35 and wasn’t happy with the way I looked and the way I felt about myself. I wasn’t going to celebrate another birthday feeling like I fell short of another dream.
So I called on a pro for help, Nicole Wilkins. She was exactly what I needed. She saw potential in me that I could have never seen in myself. She stripped my eating habits to only whole clean foods. No alcohol… no nothing! She set me up on a full strength training/cardio routine.
I thought I worked out hard until I did a few sessions with her! She brought my ego back down quicker than I could do a jump squat. She was always available to me for questions, concerns and a little motivational push when I needed it. She also gave me the confidence I needed in order to step outside of my comfort zone and finally feel happy with the person staring back at me in the mirror every morning.
There are several days in my life that I consider to be the most significant. The day I got engaged, the day I got married, the days my two beautiful girls were born, and the day I first trained with Nicole. I will never forget that day. Being a three-sport athlete in high school, and only what I considered “slightly” out of shape, I thought this would be a piece of cake. Well, even though it was an incredibly difficult hour, and I threw up in the bathroom after, I came back for more. I didn’t just come back for a couple more workouts, I came back for the next several years. To this day, I still look forward to that hour of intensity and muscle-blasting workouts I get with Nicole every week.
At 6’0 feet 220 pounds, I was a little more than “slightly” out of shape. I was a mess. My diet was awful, and filled with plenty of fast food. My Dad is a diabetic with kidney failure much of which was caused by being overweight. When I looked in the mirror I saw myself heading toward this path of self destruction. Then I simply bought in to what Nicole was telling me and showing me. The results…well, other than being much happier with what I saw in the mirror, I was able to achieve some vital health goals. I was able to lose 42 pounds and put on some muscle. I went from 21% body fat down to 11%! My waist size was a 40, and now I am inching close to a 32, (I haven’t been a 32 in almost 20 years)! For the first time in my life I can see my abs!! More importantly my total cholesterol went from a level of 222 down to a healthy 176. My blood pressure got under control and I felt great. The only medicine I used was Nicole’s expertise!
Just this year, sensing I needed a new challenge, Nicole decided to give me a 90-day challenge that would require intense workouts, an incredibly disciplined diet, and undeniable consistency. It was difficult, but it made me stronger mentally, and I was able to achieve my best physique to date.
Training with Nicole has been a journey I will never forget – she is nothing less than an absolute doll! She was quick to respond back as I reached out to her and was patient while I contemplated taking a big step in the fitness industry. She not only helped to transform my figure with nutrition and workout plans, but also has a finishing touch with hair, makeup and stage presence. Even when things were tough, she would encourage me – which meant more than anything!
Nicole continues to inspire not only myself, but countless people across the world as the wholesome, genuine woman who is full of knowledge in the health and wellness world. She is a well-balanced, true fitness model who is fulfilling her purpose to make a great impact and lead others into a healthy lifestyle.

I’ve always believed that when it comes to achieving something new in life, the way to success is to listen to someone who has already done what you’ve set out to do, and done it better. I’d followed Nicole for a while and she was my absolute role model in what I wanted to achieve in my physique. So when I decided to step on stage for the first time in 2011, the hiring of a coach was an easy choice. Learn from the best.
Having Nicole as a coach for my first contest prep was an invaluable lesson. Not only is her knowledge unquestionable, but knowing that she walks the walk made it all the more difficult to step away from the plan. Because a contest prep is hard – especially your first – there can be no doubts about the plan you are following. Since the plan was coming from Nicole, I had none.
While being separated by two states, I never felt like I walked alone. Any question I had she attended to within a few days, on days when I was down and felt unmotivated it was like she knew because I’d receive an encouraging text. And when I swayed, even though I shouldn’t, she kept me accountable and didn’t sugarcoat it.
I won’t lie, if what you are looking for is a coach who allows you to make excuses and take the easy road even when you shouldn’t and always has positive things to say, Nicole probably isn’t the coach for you. You have to be accountable and be willing to give it all you’ve got.
I wouldn’t trade the experience of working with Nicole for anything, especially as a first-time competitor. It helped me learn to do it the right way from the start. For my first show, I placed 2nd in my class in a national qualifier. Not only did that experience motivate me to continue competing, but the lessons I learned from working with Nicole has made every prep since then invaluable.
I was working with a female trainer that suggested I compete in a figure competition. At the time I had no idea what this was but I liked the sound of it. From that day forward I had it in my mind that I was going to compete in a figure show and I was going to do it by the time I was 28. I started to do my research only by looking in bodybuilding magazines. I continued to go to the gym and bounce around to different trainers that worked me hard but did not give me the direction I needed in order to meet this important goal
About a year ago I found myself getting anxious about hitting my goal. I asked a trainer if she would be interested in helping me compete in my first competition. She sadly declined and told me that her passion was not in training figure competitors, but she directed me to Nicole. When I met with Nicole she explained her packages and clearly communicated her expectations to me and set a date for my first competition.
I asked Nicole a million questions – I probably overwhelmed her with text messages and email! But she always responded promptly and thoroughly, and I appreciated her guidance so much. The information she provided was very specific, down to the calories I would consume and the condiments I was allowed to use. She also sent me weekly workouts should look like and the supplements I would be taking.
Nicole pushed me in ways no one has ever done before. I struggled tremendously with the cardio portion in particular! I hated it and didn’t want anything to do with it, but she helped me find the motivation to keep going. I had my ups and downs, and she was there the whole way to give me that extra push that I needed. She understood exactly what I was going through and knew exactly what to say. She cared and that meant a lot!
Since that time I have won Overall titles at two competitions, placed 2nd once and placed 8th. I have also competed in two national-level shows and placed 7th at one out of 42 competitors!
Three words that describe her are dedication, passionate and humble. In addition to these qualities, you will also find a great trainer and an even better friend.

I have always been athletic, from a gymnast, to a volleyball player, to a track and field athlete. After college I continued my love for weight training and cardio but noticed that I was not getting the results that I wanted. My boyfriend, a light-heavyweight bodybuilder, competed in the Michigan Championships in May of 2010. I attended the show and was immediately impressed with all the women’s physiques. After the show I kept talking about competing. I finally looked on the Michigan NPC website to see what shows were being offered and found Nicole. I looked at her website and saw that she offered online training and was immediately interested. I contacted her and told her I was interested in competing. I met with her and my journey began.
When I began my journey in July of 2010 I weighed 141 pounds. I sent Nicole photos every week with my updates. She responded immediately to any questions I had and made any needed adjustments to my diet and workouts before the next week began. Even though I never trained with her in person, I felt that she was with me every step of the way. Meanwhile she was also training to defend her title of Ms. Figure Olympia and still responded promptly to all of my emails. I competed in the Natural Northern Michigan on September 25, 2010 weighing in at 121 pounds; while Nicole was competing at the Olympia. Even though she was competing she still kept in touch with me throughout the day to see how everything was going. I ended up winning the overall at the Natural Northern and then qualifying for Nationals the next weekend at the Natural Northern USAs in Ohio!
Even though I put forth a lot of hard work, I could not have done it without the help of Nicole. I will never forget this experience.

When I decided to do a contest, I didn’t want to put anything less than 100% dedication into my goal. I strive for perfection and if I was going to compete, I wanted to bring the best possible “me” to the stage. I hired Nicole knowing I could trust in her guidance and the process 100% and I could just “have fun” every day kicking my own butt!
I was able to ignore all outside influences or feedback from others, knowing I had the best possible coach by my side. She adjusted my diet and workouts each week to perfect my body for stage readiness. She was with me every step of the way from food to cravings to workouts and posing. She even helped me with perfecting my suit, hair, makeup, and tan.
Nothing about working with her is generic or cookie cutter, she saw me though every step of the way. She made my first ever figure show an amazing experience and I was even able to bring home first place. Worth every penny!
I started training with Nicole in July of 2009. I was at my heaviest I had ever been without being pregnant. At 37, I knew I had to do something because it wasn’t easy for me to just eat what I wanted anymore and not gain weight. I was athletic in high school, but never really needed to worry about what I ate. Nicole eased me into a nutrition plan that was easy for me to slowly adapt to. I wasn’t having to make drastic changes, which made the transition easier.
As Nicole educated me on trying to make better choices in my daily diet and cooking healthier, I started to see changes – which of course made me want to continue.
Working with Nicole changed my life for the better. I learned how to really stick to my diet plan and eat six meals a day. Nicole supported me the whole way through, even when at times I wanted to give in.
I have been an athlete for as long as I can remember. I was a competitive soccer player growing up and continued to play all the way through college on a scholarship. After college, I started working full time, still making time for the gym a couple of times a week, but I was longing for that competitive rush. I started competing in triathlons and even ran a couple of marathons. Still, I was looking for something different and found out about the figure division.
I decided to start competing in 2009 and competed in a total of four contests from the local to the national level. I learned a lot that first year, but for 2010 was looking to get really serious. I met Nicole at the 2010 Arnold Sports Festival Expo, and asked her about her 12-Week Online Contest Prep package. My first impression of her was that she was sweet and very professional. I was immediately hooked and decided to start training with the best of the best!
In March 2010 we started our 12-week prep for the NPC Junior Nationals. This was honestly the easiest and most rewarding contest prep I have done! I thought I knew a lot about diet and training, but have learned so much more in my short time working with Nicole.
She has a knack for tailoring your workouts, diet and cardio for your individual needs. She makes the goals of the whole prep (and even the smaller goals week-by-week during prep) perfectly clear and gives you the motivation to achieve them. I was thoroughly impressed with the level of detail and individuality of the plans. She took all of the guess work out! Nicole is also quick to respond to questions, diet tweaks, and general questions about the industry.
I am excited about continuing to work with Nicole to achieve all of my personal fitness and competition goals!
